After Prendick got his strength back, he and Montgomery left the cabin and found a strange man (to Prendick) who had a strange face that Prendick had never seen such face for his life. Montgomery made him go away and led Prendick to the captain of the ship. And Prendick saw that the ship is filled out of all the beasts in cages.
